Cam Herbel is a self-taught artist known for her expressive portraits of pets, plants, and people. She uses vibrant, saturated colors to bring out the personalities and emotions of her subjects.

About Cam

Cam is a self-taught artist based in Colorado, USA. Her artistic journey began at Moorhead High in Minnesota, where she discovered her passion for painting and began teaching paint-and-sip classes at a local studio. After traveling across the country, she started offering live wedding paintings and pet portrait commissions in 2018.

For eight years, Cam worked in the horticulture industry while pursuing her art in her free time, eventually transitioning to painting full time in 2025. Guided by a deep appreciation for the natural world, her work displays her love for plants and all things bright.

Inspired by the beauty of nature, Cam’s paintings radiate vibrancy and emotion, bridging the space between reality and imagination. Her mission is to create meaningful, accessible art that brings more color and joy into the world.
